Design Information

From fashion to finance and brands to books, Matthew Carter designed Miller Display with sharpened serifs and enhanced contrast to lend particular polish to headlines, decks, and pull quotes in need of something special to jump off the page or screen. The Miller family of typefaces is a seminal reinvigoration of the 19th-century Scotch Roman. This series was a team effort, with Richard Lipton, Jill Pichotta, Tobias Frere-Jones, and Cyrus Highsmith contributing at different stages.
