Verdana Pro
Design Information
Matthew Carter originally designed Verdana for Microsoft for the screen. Its clarity and versatility — and hinting from Tom Rickner — have withstood the medium’s limitations. David Berlow has expanded the family with help from David Jonathan Ross. And now, more than 20 years later, it is still among the Web’s most legible, usable fonts. All 20 styles of Carter & Cone’s Verdana Pro include support for Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek. This makes it an adaptable, modern sans fit for print and mobile use.
